‘Our planet will not remain the same’: PM Modi on Covid second wave, vaccines

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in virtual Vesak Day celebrations on Buddha Purnima. PM Modi spoke on the second wave of the Covid pandemic that has wreaked havoc in the nation. PM Modi said that he grieves with all those who have lost their near and dear ones to the pandemic and added that our planet will never be the same after the Covid-19 pandemic. PM Modi also thanked India’s frontline workers for risking their own lives to battle the pandemic.
