'Science not chaos...': How Biden is urging America to fight Omicron variant

• US President Joe Biden told Americans the new Covid variant is a cause for concern, not a cause for panic. Biden also urged Americans to get fully vaccinated, including booster shots. He said they will fight Omicron with 'scientific & knowledgeable' actions, not 'chaos & confusion’. The President suggested wearing face masks indoors in public settings as additional protection. US on Monday barred entry of travellers from South Africa & seven other African nations. So far, no cases of the Covid Omicron variant have been reported in the country.
