‘Tracking Covid outbreak in India very closely’: Top Biden official

- The United States has said that it is closely tracking the Covid situation developing in India. Speaking to the media, US State Department Spokesperson Ted Ned Price said that the issue was also discussed in the meeting between Secretary Blinken and India’s external affairs minister S Jaishankar. ‘we are tracking the course of the COVID outbreak in India very closely. It is also the case that whether it’s India, whether it is any other country, we are committed to doing what we can both at the present and going forward to see to it that this virus is brought under control,’ Price said.
