UP govt credits Rs 611 crore into accounts of over 27 lakh MNREGA workers

UP government transferred Rs 611 crore into bank accounts of over 27.5 lakh workers. Yogi Adityanath chaired a meeting with officials in Lucknow on March 30. The money was transferred under MNREGA scheme to the workers from UP. This comes in the backdrop of the pan India lockdown due to COVID-19. Yogi Adityanath also lauded PM Modi for declaring the lockdown.
