USA to ease travel rules for vaccinated people; UK-India talks over new rules

- In an encouraging sign, the United States of America announced that it would ease travel rules for vaccinated foreign nationals from November 2021. Joe Biden administration official Jeffrey Zients reportedly said that the US will allow fully vaccinated foreigners into the country without requiring quarantine upon arrival if a negative Covid test result is also shown. Meanwhile, India and the United Kingdom are in talks after the latter's new travel rules kicked up a storm. The rules green-list only a few countries while vaccinated people from the rest are considered unvaccinated even if they have been injected with the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab.
