‘Variant of interest, not concern’: Govt on Delta Plus scare | Covid

In a press briefing on Tuesday, Niti Aayog’s Dr VK Paul said that the new Covid variant Delta Plus is a variant of interest. He added that it has not yet been classified as a variant of concern. Interestingly, VK Paul also mentioned that the Delta Plus variant variant nullifies the use of monoclonal antibodies, authorised for treatment in India. Watch the full video for more details.
