Vikram Chandra on country unlocking, some states relocking, & other stories

With Unlock 1 underway, states around the country are revising guidelines based on their predicament vis-a-vis Covid-19. Mizoram, with 42 cases and 8 fresh cases over the last 24 hours has re-imposed the lockdown for another 2 weeks, while the government in Bengal has extended the lockdown till June 30th. On the other hand, Maharashtra, with the most number of cases in India had people walking around in Marine drive as rules were relaxed on Sunday. With virtually all restrictions lifted, the number of cases in Delhi is nearing the 29k mark with over 1282 fresh cases reported on Sunday. This with reports coming in that the Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in unwell and is likely to take the covid-19 test on Tuesday.
