Watch: Huge rush at liquor shops in Kolkata ahead of Bengal lockdown | Covid

• As the West Bengal government announced a total lockdown in the state till May 30, long queues formed outside liquor stores in cities like Kolkata. People rushed to stock up on alcoholic drinks. Although almost all were seen wearing masks, social distancing was virtually non-existent in the queues. Bengal currently has over 1.31 lakh active Covid-19 cases.
