Watch: New York doctor on shortcomings in India’s Covid vaccination drive

- Dr. Harman Boparai, a New York based critical care physician & anesthesiologist spoke to Hindustan Times’ Aditi Prasad over the present Covid situation in the country. He said that India should have had a much wider vaccination campaign and should not have been restricted to two home-made vaccines to begin with. He said that the Central and state governments should have worked on building up capacity in healthcare sector. This comes as the second wave of Covid has wreaked havoc in the country.
