CBSE to take help from IIT to avoid board exam question paper leaks

Updated on May 06, 2018 03:01 pm IST

The committee CBSE formed to review the conduct of Class 10 and Class 12 board exams is seeking suggestions from IITs to make the system safe and prevent the question paper leaks that happened this year. Headed by VS Oberoi, the former secretary of HRD Ministry, the committee at its second meeting this week decided to approach IITs for technology solutions. The committee of eight members was formed in April after the Class 10 maths paper and Class 12 economics paper was leaked, leading to outrage and protests. It will also assess potential weak links in the present system of transporting question papers from the printing presses to exam halls the committee is likely to submit its report by the end of May.
