Aamir appointed UNICEF ambassador

UNICEF India has named Bollywood actor Aamir Khan as its national ambassador. In his new role, Khan would assist UNICEF India in its nationwide mass-awareness campaign on malnutrition. The 46-year old added that he would also be undertaking occasional visits to areas where malnutrition is at its worst.
