2007 took forward the trend of surprise hits, experimental, low-budget cinema and not to forget comedies. Officially, 2007 has just ten certified hits, which almost measure up to last year's list. But it's the money that makes the real difference. 2007 boasts of one the biggest hits of the decade - SRK starrer Om Shanti Om that ruled the box office with the biggest opening weekend in India's moviemaking history, taking about $19 million worldwide.
