Liverpool ‘deserved winners’ vs Manchester City: Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool reached the Champions League semi-final after recovering from conceding a goal inside two minutes against Manchester City to win 2-1 thanks to second-half strikes by Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino on Tuesday. It was the latest Champions League failure by City manager Pep Guardiola, who won the competition twice with Barcelona but hasn't reached the final since in five seasons with Bayern Munich and City. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believed his side were superior over both legs and deserved their win. “Over 2 legs I really think we are deserved winners.
