Qatar’s Foreign Ministry has reiterated that regional and international partners are actively engaged in efforts to de-escalate rising tensions between Iran and the United States. Speaking at a media briefing, Qatar’s spokesperson Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari said ongoing discussions aim to bring conflicting parties back to the negotiating table, warning that delays in finding common ground would only worsen hardship across the Middle East. Al Ansari highlighted the collaborative role played by countries including Türkiye, Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar in facilitating dialogue. He stressed that negotiation — not conflict — remains the only viable path to lasting peace, regardless of differing viewpoints or the current status of disputes.
