2 dead, 3 injured after class 12th student runs car over people on footpath

At least two persons were killed and three others were injured after a car ran over the footpath in Kashmere Gate in the national capital. A class 12th student who was driving the car has been apprehended. The car was being driven by a teenager who had lost control of the vehicle and climbed on the footpath. Cops are verifying whether he was inebriated at the time of the incident. Cops have informed his family members about the incident and seized the vehicle. The injured men have been admitted to the Sushruta Trauma Centre near Civil Lines.
