Congress launched a fresh salvo at the newly-installed Devendra Fadnavis government in Maharashtra. Congress raised the closing of nine cases part of the alleged irrigation scam investigation. Congress' Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that the case was related to Ajit Pawar, the new Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. He alleged a 'brazen, shameful act of conspiracy'.
