BJP MPs to observe fast to protest the impasse in Parliament

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that MPs of the Bharatiya Janata Party will observe fast on April 12 to protest against the impasse in Parliament, for which he blamed Congress. Both the Houses adjourned today and the second session of the budget session ended without any business being conducted. The session saw huge disruptions by AIADMK leading to both the houses being adjourned in just a few minutes everyday. The NDA ministers have also decided to forgo the salaries of the 23 days that the Parliament did not function.
