Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu expressed strong concerns over the “declining quality of public discourse” while asserting that it is the behavior of political leaders that influences others. “We must ensure that cases against politicians must be fast tracked. It is indeed a matter of grave concern that there are nearly 4127 cases against politicians waiting to be disposed of. Special court should be constituted and the process should be fast tracked.” said the Vice President in his speech.
