Former Indian cricketer and Uttar Pradesh Minister Chetan Chauhan died due to Covid-19 on Sunday after being in the hospital for almost a month. Meanwhile the Centre announced that India's Covid-19 fatality has dropped to 1.93%, one of the lowest globally. As the government prepares for privatisation of the Indian Railways it has announced that private operators will be allowed to choose halt stations.
