Facing fire, BJP leaders downplay Amit Shah’s one nation, one language push

BJP leaders are now trying to downplay the massive controversy stirred by Home Minister Amit Shah with his one nation, one language comment. While Karnataka Chief Minister said that Kannada will be the principal language in the state, other union & state ministers spoke of the 3 language theory. Remember, Amit Shah has faced strong criticism over his comment that Hindi is the unifying language in the country and our ancestors had always wanted Hindi to be the national language.
