‘Fighting Covid & cyclone’: PM Modi announces interim relief for West Bengal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced an interim advance relief of Rs 1000 cr for the cyclone hit West Bengal. This after he conducted an aerial survey of the cyclone hit areas with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. PM Modi said that West Bengal has had to fight Covid & the cyclone together and assured all possible help from the Centre. Over 70 people were killed as cyclone Amphan devastated parts of West Bengal on 20 May, 2020. Watch the full video for all the details.
