Haryana & Maharashtra polls: Voting on 21st October, result on 24th October

Single-phase elections to be conducted in Haryana and Maharashtra on 21 October. The counting of votes for both Haryana and Maharashtra to be held on 24 October. The announcement made by Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora. The term of the Haryana assembly ends on November 2 while that of the Maharashtra assembly's ends on November 9. While the BJP is in power in Haryana, it rules Maharashtra in coalition with the Shiv Sena.
