Home, vehicle, other retail loans to become cheaper: Nirmala Sitharaman

In a big boost to the common man, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced that banks will now have to pass on the rate cut announced by RBI to customers, making loans cheaper. The finance minister said that the RBI had been cutting down the repo rate but the banks were not passing on any the rate cut to the borrowers.
