India will be the key driver of global energy demand in the next 25 years: PM Modi

PM Modi inaugurated the 16th International Energy Forum on Wednesday. The meeting of ministers is the largest gathering of energy ministers from across the globe. The delegates debated the future of global energy. IEF 16 was hosted by India and co-hosted by China and Korea. It focused on how global shifts, transition policies and new technologies influence market stability and future investment in the energy sector.
