Security tightened in Jaisalmer following terror attack threat

Security measures have been beefed up in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district located along the Pakistan border following the threat of terrorist attack. Special vigil arrangements have been made and all the police stations and officials are put on alert. Steps were taken up following alert sounded by the intelligence agencies about the terrorist attack in the country. Besides security around the sensitive religious locations, railway station, bus station and other important locations have also increased. Police officials were also directed to monitor international call and ensure adequate arrangements around the important and sensitive locations.
