Several states have announced compensation for families of CRPF jawans killed in the Pulwama attack. Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Raghubar Das announced ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh and job to kin of slain CRPF soldier Vijay Soreng from Jharkhand. A Jaish suicide bomber on Thursday rammed a car packed with explosives into a CRPF convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway. The CRPF has confirmed 38 deaths in the terror attack, counted among the bloodiest in Kashmir. (Hindustan Times)
