TMC MP Mahua Moitra responds to plagiarism allegations over her maiden Parliament speech. Allegations were made that her speech was plagiarized from Martin Longman's article. American commentator Longman tweeted saying Moitra didn't 'steal or plagiarize anything'. He tweeted, “I'm internet famous in India because a politician is being falsely accused of plagiarizing me. It's kind of funny, but right-wing a**holes seem to be similar in every country.” In the same thread, he also added, “Whether they reach out to me or not, this is ridiculous. She didn't steal or plagiarize anything.”
