Meat ban in UP forces Muslims to serve vegetable biryani in weddings

A welfare organisation in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad, which conducts mass marriages for poor Muslim people, became the prey of the ongoing meat ban in the state. Following the ban they were forced to serve vegetable biryani to their guests. Guests at the function were served vegetable pulao colloquially known as tahri. With Yogi Adityanath becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, meat ban, as well as ban on illegal slaughter houses, have come to the fore.
