Naxal poster asking people to boycott polls doesn’t deter Chhattisgarh

The first phase of Chhattisgarh assembly elections is underway for 18 seats including Naxal-hit regions of Bastar, Sukma and Rajnandgaon. Naxals have put up banners asking people to boycott elections. The posters have failed to hold back voters. People in large numbers are queuing up outside polling stations to exercise their vote. 56.58% voter turnout was recorded till 4.30 pm.
