Maharashtra Governor invites NCP; Sonia, Pawar continue talks on Sena tie-up

Shiv Sena leaders met the Maharashtra Governor on Monday. The party sought more time to submit letters of support. Meanwhile Congress and NCP refrained from declaring support for Sena. Maharashtra Governor, Bhagat Singh Koshyari denied more time to Shiv Sena and subsequently called the 3rd largest party, NCP to stake claim to form govt. Governor set a deadline of 8:30 pm on Nov 12 for NCP.
