‘Opposition shedding crocodile tears for migrant workers’: UP Labour Minister

UP Labour Minister Swami Prasad Maurya slammed Congress and Samajwadi Party over Labour Laws Ordinance. Swami Prasad Maurya accused opposition of showing their anti-workers face and shedding crocodile tears. Maurya added that the opposition is proving to be the workers' biggest enemy by opposing ordinance. Earlier, UP govt cleared an ordinance exempting businesses and industries from labour laws for the next three years as a measure to get State's industrial activities back on track in wake of Covid-19.
