Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani in New York on Monday. The two world leaders shared a warm hug and handshake before initiating the meeting. The Prime Minister also participated in various United Nations meetings. The first was the Climate Action Summit and the second was a high-level meeting on universal health coverage. PM spoke about India's efforts to battle climate change, and also the recent ban imposed on e-cigarettes as well as the Ayushman Bharat scheme. The diplomatic engagements come a day after his mega 'Howdy Modi' event in Houston, Texas.
