PM Modi pays tribute to Sardar Patel at Statue of Unity in Gujarat

PM Modi paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the Statue of Unity on his 144th birth anniversary. The place had been decked up for PM Modi's visit and security had also been tightened. The Statue of Unity was inaugurated last year to honour Sardar Patel. Modi govt has been observing Sardar Patel's birth anniversary as National Unity Day since 2014.
