PM Modi wraps up Bhutan trip after monument visit & cultural programme

On the second day of his Bhutan trip, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited a famous monument and attended a cultural programme. He paid his respects at the National Memorial Chorten. It was built in the memory of the Third Druk Gyalpo and is dedicated to world peace. He also attended a cultural event at the Tashichhodzong Palace. After the various engagements, PM Modi emplaned for New Delhi. Upon his return, he was received by External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. PM Modi said that the outcomes of the visit will enhance bilateral ties.
