Punjab cop whose hand was chopped off in Patiala was released from the hospital on Thursday. The cop, whose hand was chopped off allegedly by a group of Nihang Sikhs in April, was admitted to the hospital. Harjeet Singh's hand was replanted after a 7.5-hour long surgery at PGIMER. The cop thanked the hospital staff and Punjab Police for their help. Singh was also promoted to Sub-Inspector after the incident.
