Rahul Gandhi visits religious places ahead of Karnataka polls

Rahul Gandhi has been visiting numerous religious places during his campaign trail in Karnataka. He was recently in Mangalore for an election campaign and visited Rosario Church, Gokarnanatheshwara Temple and Ullal Dargah there. Before this, while he was campaigning in Kalburagi he went to Sharanabasappa temple and Khwaja Bande Nawaz Dargah to pay his respects. However, BJP is looking at this as a way to woo voters. The Gandhi scion visited numerous temples a few months back before the Gujarat elections too. While BJP took a jibe at him, Rahul defended himself saying that he has always visited temples and it is not forbidden to do so.
