Rajnath Singh meets Indian engineers at factory of firm making Rafale engine

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited a facility in France's Villaroche which manufactures engines for the Rafale fighter aircraft. The M88 engine which powers the Rafale jet is designed, developed and produced by Safran Group. Singh also met Indian engineers training at the Safran facility. The minister said that the Indian engineers' hard work and technical knowledge was 'impressive and inspiring'. A day earlier, Singh had taken delivery of the first Rafale aircraft for the Indian Air Force.
