The Nationalist Congress Party and Shiv Sena sought to keep their flock intact a day after the Bharatiya Janata Party formed the government with Ajit Pawar's aid. NCP chief Sharad Pawar, smarting after his nephew's 'indiscipline', addressed his party's legislators along with Uddhav Thackeray at a hotel in Mumbai. The NCP meet took place at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel. The Thackerays then proceeded to meet Sena MLAs at The Lalit hotel. NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal insisted that 49-50 MLAs of the party are 'in our hands'.
