Shiv Sena and Mayawati hit out at BJP for forming government in Karnataka

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on 17th May said that democracy has not been killed because there is no democracy left in the country. He was accusing the Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala for not calling the parties with maximum majority. BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa took oath as the 23rd chief minister of Karnataka at the Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru on Thursday morning. The ceremony happened hours after the Supreme Court rejected a petition seeking a stay on the ceremony. In Uttar Pradesh, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after the party formed a government in Karnataka. She termed the entire episode as a conspiracy to destroy the Constitution. Mayawati accused the BJP of misusing the government ever since they came to power at the Centre. Though Vala invited the BJP to form the government, he has given 15 days to the saffron party to prove its majority in the state assembly.
