Navjot Sidhu defends comment on Pulwama attack, reminds BJP of Kandahar

Navjot Singh Sidhu defends his comments on the Pulwama attack, saying that the perpetrators should be punished severely. He also reminded the BJP of Kandahar when in 1999, wherein India released three militant leaders to prevent the escalation of a hostage situation of the Indian Airlines flight which had already lasted seven days.
Navjot Singh Sidhu had last week condemned the attack that killed 40 CRPF personnel, the 55-year-old politician had said “terrorists do not have deen, mazhab (sect and religion)”, adding that one couldn't blame an entire nation for such attacks. He also called for a “dialogue to find a permanent solution to end the bloodshed.”
