Swine flu grips Gujarat, 17 new cases registered in Ahmedabad

Seventeen more people were tested positive for swine flu at just one civil hospital in Ahmedabad on Monday, as the scare of the viral fever grips the city. Gujarat has been seeing an alarming rise in the number of patients who are affected by the virus and being admitted to hospitals. The Ahmedabad Civil Hospital received a total of 20 patients of whom 17 were tested positive for the influenza A virus. The symptoms of swine flu include sore throat, cough, cold and fever, headache, nausea, and vomiting. People have been advised to avoid going to crowded places and take proper hygiene measures to ensure safety.
