Triple Talaq & Article 370 axed, Shiv Sena pushes for uniform civil code
Updated on Feb 28, 2020 06:16 pm IST
After Modi government criminalised Triple talaq and abrogated Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, now Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has claimed that a uniform civil code will soon be implemented in India. He said that the Congress and other opposition parties had been accusing the government of not being able to revoke Article 370 but they have been proven wrong. Raut said with article 370 and triple talaq gone, uniform civil code has become a mere formality in the country.
