Unnao rape accused Kuldeep Sengar claimed he was victim of a political plot. The rape victim is currently hospitalised after an accident with a truck. Sengar has been accused of conspiring to murder the rape survivor. Sengar claimed he was being framed, and sought a thorough inquiry. When asked who was framing him, Sengar asked scribes to ascertain it. Sengar was being taken to Delhi for a hearing in the case. Following outrage after the victim's accident, BJP had expelled Sengar. Sengar, a four-time MLA, allegedly raped the victim in 2017.
