At least seven people have lost their lives in Shimla due to intense cold. Heavy snowfall over the weekend in Himachal Pradesh has intensified cold, plummeting temperatures. The cold has inconvenienced locals on the streets as they struggle to find means to keep themselves warm, often burning scraps of rubbish to create a bonfire.
