Watch | BJP leader shot at in Ghaziabad, about 30 rounds were fired

Senior BJP leader, Brij Pal Teotia, sustained severe injuries after a gang of unidentified assailants opened fire at his SUV in Rawli Road area on Thursday night. Police said Teotia sustained about five gunshot wounds after his car was attacked around 8pm in Murad Nagar. Nearly 30 rounds were allegedly fired. An officer said Teotia was travelling with five others, including his driver and bodyguards, all of who sustained bullet injuries. Teotia is said to be out of danger and is being currently treated at the Fortis Hospital's ICU. Police have recovered ammunition including an AK-47 and an investigation is underway.
