Governor of Jammu and Kashmir commented on the issue of retrieving Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. Satyapal Malik said that many ministers had recently made comments about the Indian territory currently under Pakistan's illegal occupation. The governor said that instead of a war, development of Jammu and Kashmir can be used to retrieve PoK. Earlier, union ministers like Jitendra Singh and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar had commented on PoK. Singh had said that retrieving PoK is next on agenda, while Jaishankar had said that India expects to have physical jurisdiction over PoK one day.
