Watch: Mass surrender of over 30 Maoists in Chhattisgarh; cops credit scheme

Mass surrender of Maoists took place in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada on October 25, as per police. Over 30 Maoists, including 6 with rewards on their heads, 'joined the mainstream' at a ceremony presided over by Superintendent of Police Abhisek Pallava. Speaking on the Lon Varratu (Return Home) programme, Pallava said that around 150 Maoists had surrended in three months under the scheme. He added that the surrender offer was open till the 30th, after which legal action would be taken. Watch the full video for more.
