At least seven people have been killed in the mine collapse case in Jharkhand's Lalmatia, today. The accident took place on late Thursday night when over 50 workers of a private company were trapped under the debris. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to state Chief Minister Raghubar Das upon the issue. Das has announced Rs. 2 lakhs compensation to the families of the deceased and Rs. 25,000 for the injured.
