‘Who sent Masood Azhar back to Pakistan’: Rahul Gandhi asks Modi govt
Updated on Mar 11, 2019 01:49 pm IST
Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reminding it that it was during the previous NDA government that Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar was freed from an Indian jail. “What is the name of the Jaish-e-Mohammed chief? Masood Azhar. Who released him from our jail? Was it not the BJP government that released Azhar from our jail and sent him to Kandahar? Did you not send the NSA and Jaswant Singh in the plane with Azhar,” Rahul asked, while addressing a rally in Haveri in Karnataka.
