2-Year-old Indian girl eats pebbles, chomps bricks

A two-year-old girl Pakeeza in India's northern Bhagalpur enjoys eating pebbles and munching bricks, and hot chilies. Pakeeza who has been on this unusual diet for the last eight months has not shown any sign of health problems. Eating disorder of this kind is medically known as pica. Pica is an appetite for largely non-nutritive substances like coal, soil, chalk, paper or an abnormal appetite for some things that may be considered foods, such as food ingredients.
